Your material needs to be twice the required finished curtain drop with an additional 20cm for the hem when using swag holders.

Fix the swag holders in position above the window, high enough so that the draped portion of the swag will not cover too much of the window.

Position material loosely over the swag holders and create a drape over your window. Ensure both drops either side of the window are equal. Finally, pull material through swag holders to secure and to create rosettes.
